things I make

Music. I compose my own music for piano, although I use the term loosely. I mostly play the piano to blow off steam. My music is my own, so very little of it is recorded. This is one (very rough) example, which you can listen to with Windows Media Player.

A ruckus. I have a strong distaste for bureaucracy, and an even stronger distaste for injustice. Fighting these is often unpopular. It rocks the boat, annoys people, and draws attention to oneself--and not always welcome attention. However, I'm steadfast in the face of adversity. I admire organizations with similar goals, and the primary organization to which I contribute money is the ACLU. I also regularly contribute to the EFF and the Drug Policy Alliance.

Clutter. Clutter crowds my living spaces. There is paperwork everywhere; technical manuals are all over the place, and bills and receipts are strewn about in seemingly random order (the floors, counters, sinks, dishes, and the toilet are usually clean--go figure). I know where everything is. However, it's somewhat like searching a fragmented hard drive attempting to locate numerous items. On the subject of hard drives, my hard drive is organized neatly, and kept well-maintained.
