field trips

I like to travel. So I take field trips. Field trips are either random, or they're minimally planned and usually include many random events. I started taking field trips when I was working in Portland. After a week of dealing with morons from Alabama who couldn't figure out their modem initialization strings, it was a welcome diversion to visit the Oregon coast, the high desert, or some other destination.

This continued when I was in Arkansas. I saw a lot of the Mid-South during my field trips there. And the more people involved in a random field trip, the more strange it is.
