Mile 0 of the Trans-Canada Highway. Maybe I'll drive the whole way someday. For some reason, Cape Spear reminded me a bit of Cape Flattery on the Washington coast. Maybe it was the inlets and crashing waves. The sky was brilliant and blue. It's not often like this in Newfoundland, I was told. Back toward shore, Cape Spear. The end of the earth, Cape Spear.
